The armament carried aboard Victory Ships in WWII included:

  50 Cal. Machine Gun

Two 50 cal machine guns on the signal bridge.

 

8 - 20mm Oerlikon Mark 4 cannons located as follows:

2 on the 5"  38 gun deck (one starboard, one port)

4 on the bridge deck (2 starboard, 2 port)

2 forward (starboard and port) of the No. 1 hatch

  Deck Cannon 3"/50 on the bow
 

One Mark 30 Mod 38 5"/38mm cannon in the aft gun tub at the stern of the ship, over the Armed Guard quarters and the ammo lockers

 

 

The Lane Victory has all of the above armament in place on its decks, plus one 40 mm anti-aircraft gun for show

 

The VC2-S-AP2,VC2-S-AP3, and VC2-M-AP4 were armed with a 5 inch (127 mm) stern gun for use against submarines, a bow-mounted 3 inch (76 mm) anti-aircraft gun and eight 20 mm cannon, also for use against aircraft. These weapons were manned by United States Naval Armed Guard personnel, members of the United States Navy  wikipedia.org
