We have two categories of Administrative volunteers;
Our gangway staff is our greeters, ticket sellers and kiosk department for the ship. The Gangway needs to be manned seven (7) days a week, from 0900 hrs (9 a.m.) until 1600 hrs (4:00 pm).
Typically, a volunteer on the Gangway will work an entire day, but other arrangements can be made. We particularly need help on Saturday and Sunday at the moment, but if you can volunteer other days, that may help us on Saturday and Sunday with a reshuffle.
The work it very light, no lifting, and volunteers are allowed to listen to the radio, or watch videos on their lap-top. The hardest part of the job is, it can be boring at times.
Our office staff handles:
- The regular mail.
- Our received Email and answering it.
- Any phone calls that come in.
- Voice Mail, and calling back if needed.
- Dues processing (no solicitation).
- Membership application processing.
- Badge creation.
- Crew member filing.
Currently our office is only open on Wednesday mornings, Saturday mornings, but ideally we'd like to have the office open 5 days a week (Tuesday - Saturday) so any day one might be available would be helpful.
It is also helpful, but not required, that one is comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite.
